What’s the process of finding the best listening turntable/record player? Well the only way to determine that is to listen, listen, and listen. To some this might be a long and tedious task, but to me, its what I love to do the most and that’s listening to music.

The best turntable on the market right now is the Audio Technica AT-LP120 USB. Audio Technica is no stranger to the audio industry, they continue to put great products out and they have got a great track record. The AT-LP120 sets the bard for turntables and vinyl players. It is highly adjustable, has a built in phono preamp, great sound quality, and has a vinyl to digital converter built in, so you can take your vinyl where you go.

Why use Turntables anyway?

Whats the point of listening to records, when you can download songs so easily now? Well I will get into this later, but trust me its worth it.

It includes a phono preamp, and it gives you the vinyl to digital conversion as well. The main reason to buy this, is because its comparable to other machines that are double the price.

Most turntables know a days don’t include the phono preamp, which means you can hook this beauty up to your existing sound sytem. If you have a pre amp already than you can simply flick a switch and use yours instead.

Its also a very flexible record player, the tonearm has adjustments for vertical tracking, anti skating, and a great counterweight system. It has 33, 45 and 78 RPM speed adjustments.

You can get it in an assortment of colors, it has a removable dust cover. Its made out of MDF and the it has a steel platter making it very durable.

The AT-LP60 is a budget friendly record player as it is priced well under the other turntables mentioned. Its belt driven turntable with a removable dust cover, selectable speed mode, built in phono preamp and replaceable cartridges. Its built solid and is durable. It has an aluminum platter as well.

You cant control tracking and it doesn’t have the anti skate feature. Still for such a low price you cant really go wrong with this record player.
